FAQ
Lets see if I can answer some of your questions.
What Do You Specialize In?
I specialize in trauma therapy and understand that many struggles stem from difficult experiences without adequate support. I work with a range of concerns including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), dissociative disorders, depression, and anxiety. My approach is tailored to help you heal from trauma and regain balance.
How Do I Get Started with Therapy?
Getting started with trauma therapy is simple. Reach out by phone or email to schedule an initial consultation. In this first contact, we’ll discuss your goals, what you want from therapy, and how I can best support your healing journey. From there, in our first session, we’ll create a personalized plan and schedule regular sessions. Feel free to ask any questions before we begin.
What Should I Expect During Therapy Sessions?
During your sessions, expect a compassionate and supportive environment where we explore your trauma narrative and its impact on your nervous system. We’ll work together to process and release stuck fight, flight, or freeze responses safely and at your pace. This approach promotes healing, self-awareness, and emotional resilience.
Can I Use My Insurance for Therapy?
I do not accept insurance directly, but I provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider for coverage details.
How Long Will Therapy Take?
Healing is a unique process and varies for each person. While I can’t predict exactly how long therapy will take, I provide consistent support and a safe space to help you through your journey—no matter how long it lasts.
How Long Are Therapy Sessions?
Sessions typically last 45 to 50 minutes, but longer sessions can be arranged based on your needs.
How Often Should I Attend Therapy Sessions?
Most clients start with weekly sessions for steady support. However, session frequency can be adjusted to fit your preferences, including biweekly or less frequent meetings.
