Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Mind Body Peace (“we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, services, retreats, and any related content (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1) Who We Are

Mind Body Peace LLC offers education, wellness content, and retreat experiences centered on somatic-based practices, dream work, guided reflection, nervous system awareness, and nature-based experiences. Referrals or connections to licensed professionals may be provided when appropriate.

2) Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services, register for retreats, or submit forms unless a parent/guardian provides consent and participates where required.

3. No Medical, Mental Health, or Emergency Services

Mind Body Peace retreats are educational and experiential in nature. They do not constitute medical treatment, psychotherapy, psychiatric care, or emergency services.

Retreat content may include:

  • Somatic Experiencing®–informed practices

  • Dream work and guided reflection

  • Nervous system education

  • Group discussion and experiential exercises

These offerings are not a substitute for professional medical or mental health care.

If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately.

4. Retreat Participation & Scope

Retreats are designed to support self-awareness, nervous system regulation, and personal insight. Participation may involve emotionally reflective experiences that can bring up discomfort, memories, or strong feelings.

By registering, you acknowledge that:

  • You are responsible for determining whether participation is appropriate for you

  • You understand retreats may involve emotional exploration

  • You may pause, step back, or opt out of any activity at any time

  • ​

Participation is always voluntary, and you are encouraged to honor your own pace and limits.

5. Eligibility & Health Responsibility

To participate in retreats, you must:

Be 18 years of age or older

Be able to engage safely in group settings

Inform us in advance of any relevant medical or mental health considerations that may affect participation

You agree that you are solely responsible for your physical, emotional, and psychological well-being during and after the retreat.

6. Registration, Payments & Refund Policy

Registration
Your retreat registration is confirmed only after full payment or deposit (if applicable) is received.

Refunds & Cancellations
Because retreats require advance commitments to venues, facilitators, and materials, the following refund policy applies unless otherwise stated in writing for a specific retreat:

  • Deposits: Non-refundable

  • Cancellations 30+ days before retreat: Eligible for a partial refund, minus non-recoverable costs

  • Cancellations within 30 days of retreat: No refunds

  • No-shows or early departures: No refunds

 
Transfers
You may request to transfer your registration to another eligible participant with written approval from Mind Body Peace. Transfers are not guaranteed and may be subject to administrative fees.

7. Third-Party Services & Participant Responsibilities

Some retreats may involve third-party venues, accommodations, guides, or services. Mind Body Peace is not responsible for acts, omissions, delays, or cancellations by third parties.

You are responsible for:

  • Travel arrangements and insurance

  • Lodging unless explicitly included

  • Personal belongings

  • Compliance with local laws and venue rules

8. Media, Testimonials & Confidentiality

You may be invited to provide feedback or testimonials. By submitting them, you grant permission for Mind Body Peace to use them for educational or promotional purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.

Photos or recordings may be taken at retreats. You will be given the opportunity to opt out of identifiable use. We will not publicly identify participants without consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mind Body Peace and its facilitators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in retreats or use of related materials.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific retreat giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mind Body Peace from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  • Your participation in a retreat

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your failure to follow retreat guidelines or safety instructions

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or retreat participation shall first be addressed through good-faith informal resolution. If unresolved, disputes shall be handled in courts located in Fulton County, Georgia, unless otherwise required by law.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised Effective Date. Continued participation or registration after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Privacy Policy

Use of our website and submission of registration or inquiry forms is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected, stored, and used. Please review the Privacy Policy for additional details.
